About the event
The theme of our Regathering is reACT. While the world is full of reaction videos on youtube, out-of-context soundbites and memes posted to social media, and polarizing speeches by politicians, we will be discussing how we can respond to the challenges in our lives and the world around us in a way that is healthy, effective, compassionate, and in line with the teachings of Jesus. Join for thought-provoking lectures, interactive discussions, relaxing downtime and friendship-building, with opportunities for hiking, swimming, and an excursion to historic Dubrovnik.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who is invited?
You are! Anyone is welcome who has attended a ROM gathering or other Forum event, or those who have not attended but have always wanted to.
How much does it cost?
The cost is 400 euros per person, and it includes accommodations, food, excursions and materials.
What if I can't afford to pay 400 euros?
The price of 400 euros is already subsidized, however there is an early bird discount of 50 euros for those who pay the registration fee by May 31, 2024, making the early bird price 350 euros. There is also a discounted registration fee of 250 euros available to participants from the Balkans or other economically struggling regions (which is also eligible for the 50 euro early bird discount by May 31, 2024, making the discounted early bird price 200 euros). If you are unsure what fee applies to you or would like to request further financial assistance, please email us at rom@forumforleadership.org.
How much do children pay?
Children ages 5 and under don't pay anything. We ask that children ages 6-14 pay half the cost that their parents are paying, if at all possible. If this is an issue or you have any questions, please email us at rom@forumforleadership.org.
Is it possible to get a scholarship to cover transportation costs?
Unfortunately, no. We can, however, if possible, connect you with other participants traveling from your country/region and you can work together to try to find the most affordable transportation option.
If I fly to Dubrovnik, can you pick me up?
We will do our best to coordinate transportation from the Dubrovnik airport for a small fee. We will send information on organized transportation, as well as bus and taxi options, closer to the event.
Can I bring my husband/wife/ kids/family?
Absolutely yes! We are working on making childcare arrangements so that parents can be fully engaged in the program.
How do I register?
Please register as soon as possible through this link. Space is limited and spots will be given on a first come, first served basis.
What if I can't come for the whole time?
We encourage everyone to join us for the whole time if at all possible, however we know that is not possible for everyone, and we want as many members of our community as possible to join us. If you would like to join for part of the time, please fill out the registration form and indicate on there what dates you will be able to attend.
Why did you choose Trebinje?
We had our ROM summer gathering at Grad Sunca Trebinje in 2022 and had a good experience - the hotel is comfortable with lots of recreation options, the location close to Dubrovnik is easily accessible, there are beautiful hiking opportunities, and it seemed fitting for our program focused on reconciliation to take place in Bosnia & Herzegovina. When looking for a family-friendly venue that could accommodate a larger group, Grad Sunca was near the top of our list.
What if I need a visa for Bosnia & Herzegovina?
We wish we could have found a location that was perfect in every way for everyone, but that was not possible. Unfortunately, some of our participants will need a visa for Bosnia & Herzegovina. You are responsible for researching whether you need a visa and how to obtain one. If you need any support from us (such as an invitation letter) please email us at rom@forumforleadership.org.
